Recent Vivir Accolades

This innovative program is supported by EU, UNICEF and the UN, and has also received widespread recognition by organizations in Ecuador for its work in capacity building. People who attend the association's center are given medical treatment in combination with knowledge that empowers them to influence their own well-being. Vivir's affiliations with national institutions that encourage the involvement of community leaders greatly enhance the extent and effectiveness of its programs. Most recently, Vivir has been accredited by the National Center for Capacity Building; invited to participate in the drafting of a malaria proposal to be presented to the Global Fund as a national program; and invited to participate in the Ecuadorean Consortium for Social Responsibility
