• La Casa Indigenista Subud San Diego along with a Quaker group in San Diego and La Jolla have built a sewing school in Tijuana Mexico to teach indigenious women sewing skills so that they can support themselves.  The groups have also been involved with a school supplies project.
  
• Quest Center � Portland, OR: Offers holistic care and education to people with critical illnesses, including HIV/AIDS and cancer. The emphasis is on healthy meals, alternative therapies, community building, and nutrition education.
• Teen Moms and More - Kirkland, WA and Los Angeles: Encourages teenage parents to continue their education while providing positive parenting skills. Also provides essential school supplies to impoverished and disaster-affected schools.
